Rebecca's Bridal Shower Cake

This was a small cake for about 20 people for a bridal shower for a friend.  It was white cake, covered in ivory fondant and blue polka dots.  It was a simple design but elegant.  The L at the top was made out of fondant, and the bottom layer was lightly quilted.  The colors matched the invitation as well.

Rebecca's Couple Shower Cake

This was a three tiered cake for about 75 people made in the middle of 100 degree weather in July.  It had to travel about 30 miles, and by the time it was set up, it started to tilt.  It was a couple's shower for a bridal couple and a great success.  It was white cake and strawberry cake.  Each layer was filled with vanilla butter cream and fresh cut strawberries.  It was a challenge to do it, but enjoyed it.

Caroline's Polka Dot Cake

This cake was for dear friend's daughter who was turning 7.  She had napkins and plates that were pink and lime green.  She had seen a cake I had done earlier this summer and wanted it to resemble that one.  It is two tiered with a vanilla buttercream filling.  The outside is fondant covered with accents in fondant as well, and a brown ribbon as an accent too.  After I looked at pictures, I realized that I had unconsciously put a hidden Mickey on it.  Good thing they like Disney like me.

Chris 'GI Joe Cake

This cake was for a friend's son who wanted a GI Joe cake.  The cake was yellow with vanilla buttercream filling and two tiered.  The cake was all buttercream covered as camouflage and had toy soldiers as decorations.  I used graham crackers as my "sand".  This was the first boy cake I have done, and was pretty nervous.  But it turned out cute, boyish, and Chris loved it.

Kylie's One Year old Cake

This cake was for my friend's daughter, Kylie, who was turning one.  They had her party at home and her mom loves purple.  She wanted butterflies and flowers.  The cake was double tiered covered in fondant.  The middle of the cake was filled with vanilla buttercream.  All the accents were made of fondant as well.

Jack's Horse Cake

This cake was for a friend of mine's son, Jack .  He was having his birthday party at the Martin Farm with horses.  He wanted a "horse" cake.  The cake was double tiered and covered with fondant.  The accents included horses, cowboy boot, and a cowboy hat, all in fondant.

Rebecca's Nursing Graduation Cake

This cake was done for my friend, Rebecca.  She was graduating from nursing school and going to have a reception.  She does not like fondant, so the cake was entirely done in vanilla buttercream.  It was yellow cake and the nursing accents were fondant.

Caroline's Tea Party Cake

My friend, Rachael's daughter, Caroline, was having a tea party for her birthday party.  She loved pink, so I did a double tiered cake with white buttercream covered in fondant.  I used pink and green circle accents and green stripes.  All accents are edible including handles:)

Michaela's Gilry Cake

This cake was for a friend's daughter.  She was very girly and wanted a cake to showcase that.  The cake was two tiered with chocolate buttercream in between each layer.  It was covered in pink fondant and  had fondant accents of a phone, make up brushes, purses and trinkets.

Ellas's 6th Birthay Cake

This cake has to be the hardest I have done, and the most proud I have been of a cake.  It is three tiers all double stacked with chocolate and white cake.  The inside was vanilla butttercream icing and it was completely covered in fondant. The accents were all made out of fondant with the exception of the wire and ribbon used to accentuate the cake.  This cake took about 10 hours to do, but it was lots of fun.

Ashley's 14th Beach Birthday

This was for my great friend and best babysitter ever, Ashley.  She loves the beach and her birthday was in July.  The flip flops were white cake with vanilla buttercream icing.  The design was piped on the flip flops with a star tip in her favorite colors.  This had to be one of the "funnest" cakes I have done.

Josephine's 4th Birthday Minnie Mouse cake

This was my doodlebug's 4th birthday cake.  It was a three tier white and yellow cake with chocolate almond buttercream icing.  The ears were made out of cake, and covered with black fondant.  ALl the accen on the cake are made of fondant, including the bow.  I have loved Disney since I was practically born, so for my daughter to love it as much as me, meant the world to me.  She had a blast!

Baylee's Birthday Zebra Cake

This was the first cake I did for my friend, April's daughter, Baylee.  She wanted a zebra cake with her favorite color, pink.  The cake was straberry with a vanilla buttercream frosting on the inside.  The outside of the cake was hot pink fondant with fondant accents.
